This article shows you how to create promotions and apply them to tickets, whether for single or multi-ticket checkouts. With easy steps for configuring percentage or fixed-amount deals, you'll learn how to boost sales and streamline the customer experience in no time!


Create Promotions

These instructions explain how to create a new promotion in the cloud software by entering basic details, setting client eligibility, and customizing discount options. You’ll also learn how to adjust advanced settings, such as tax handling, employee eligibility, and promotion combinability.

⚠️ Please Note:

  • There is not an option to limit how many times a promo can be used for a client or the number of times that promotion can be redeemed.

  • Discounts will be included in the Promotions Summary report (under sales).

  1. Select More, then click Promotions

    • This may be different if you have customized your icons on your toolbar in User Settings.

  2. Click +New Promotions at the top left.

  3. Fill out the basic information:

    • Name your promotion.

    • Set the discount type ($ or %) and amount.

    • Choose what the discount applies to (services, products, etc.).

    • Optionally limit by items and/or date/time range.

  4. Define Target Clients:

    • Allow all clients, or select a client category.

  5. Under Advanced Options (if needed):

    • Select if the promotion can or cannot be combined with other promotions.

    • Choose whether the promotion applies before or after tax.

    • Select if all or certain employees can use the promotion.

      • Promotions are not included in employee access settings at this time.


🏷️ Redeem Promotions

These instructions show how to redeem a promotion on an open ticket in the appointment book. You’ll learn how to select a ticket and apply an active promotion.

⚠️ Please Note:

  • A promotion cannot be edited once applied to a ticket, nor removed from a closed ticket.

  • Even if a promotion is later deactivated, it still applies to tickets that already used it.

  • Promos can be applied to packages, but not memberships or pre-paid services.

  1. Select an open ticket on your appointment book.

  2. Click the promotion you would like to apply, a checkmark means it's active.

    • Applying is allowed on packages, but not on memberships or prepaid services.


🛒 Multi-Ticket Checkout

These instructions explain how to complete a multi-ticket checkout when multiple tickets contain separate promotions. You’ll learn how to select tickets to combine, manage how promotions are applied, and verify them before proceeding to payment.

  1. Select Checkout.

  2. Click the checkbox to the right of each ticket you'd like to combine.

  3. During a multi-ticket checkout for 2 tickets that have separate promos, you will receive the following pop up. Click Proceed on the prompt.

    • This prompt is informing you that the promotion will be applied to the payer ticket.

    • If you choose to use both promos in the next screen you will be allowed to choose if you want the second one to apply to all tickets or just the payer’s.

  4. Verify the promotions applied on the right side, then select Proceed to Payments.
