How to Edit a Closed Ticket
Introducing DaySmart’s newest feature! The ability to edit a closed ticket. Editing a closed ticket will allow you to edit a mistake/change a ticket without having to completely void and recreate it.
How to Edit a closed ticket
Navigate to the Appointment Book.
Find the ticket in question and select it.
Click Appt Details.
You can now select Edit Ticket on the Ticket screen, or you can click Actions at the top and select how you wish to edit.
Clicking Edit Ticket will allow you to update the services included, employees included, start time, Appointment Type and Confirmation Type.
Note you cannot remove/add services from this edit option. You would have to void and recreate in that case.
Once finished editing, click the Save button at the top.
How to Edit Payments and Tips on a closed ticket
Navigate to the Appointment Book.
Open the ticket and click Appt Details.
Click Actions and Select Edit Payments and Tips.
This will take you to the payment screen you see when checking out customers.
Clicking Proceed to payments will allow you to view as well as edit the payments and tips.
You can click Edit Tips which will take you to the tips screen and allow you to split a tip between employees or change the employee who received the tip.
If you add a tip or increase a price, you will have a Due appear on the screen which you will have to take payment for to save the transaction.
Once you add that payment remaining, you may click Complete Transaction to save the ticket.
