Update Account Info/Transfer of Ownership

You can perform a transfer of ownership electronically within your account management settings. Simply follow the instructions listed below to update your information.

Instructions

  1. Sign into your DaySmart account.

  2. Once you’re signed in, click the Edit Contact Info button under your Account Owner section.

  3. Click on the Change Business Name/Owner link in the bottom left corner.

  4. Fill out the form with all the new contact information and you’re all set.

Desktop Users

If you have used Remote Access, you will have an online account. Alternatively if your software is registered by user credentials then you also have an online account.

To find if your software is registered by user credentials within your software by:

  1. Go to Help in the upper right corner

  2. Select Registration Info

If you see an email address next to “Account:” then you would be able to handle your Transfer of Ownership through Account Management as detailed above.

Please note that if you are a Desktop user and do not have an online account, please chat with us or send an email to [email protected] and we can provide a form for you to submit instead

To continue utilizing our integrated payment processing under the new ownership, it is necessary to obtain a new MID (Merchant Identification Number) for the new owner, along with canceling the old MID to avoid interruptions with deposits or payouts.
