This article walks you through how to submit a feature request directly from within the software. You can share ideas, view previous submissions, vote on requests, and update your email preferences.


📨Submit a Feature Request

Use the in-app Resource Center to submit your feedback or feature suggestions to the DaySmart team.

💡Pro Tip:

  • If you experience issues or notice something that seems to no longer work as intended, contact support directly rather than submitting a feature request. This ensures the issue is addressed promptly and avoids delays. You can reach support at [email protected] or via our live chat.

  • Be clear and specific. Describe the feature, your goal, and any workarounds you currently use to achieve it.

  1. Click or hover over the question mark icon in the lower-left corner of your Appointment Book to open the Resource Center.

  2. Click on Share Your Feedback.

  3. Select Make a Suggestion to open a quick request form.

  4. To use the full view, click Open in Portal to see past submissions and detailed fields.

  5. In the form, fill out the following:

    • What Feature or enhancement would you like to see implemented?

    • What are you trying to achieve?

    • Any workaround you’re using for this issue.

  6. Upload images or attachments if helpful.

  7. If applicable, select a Product Area that this request corresponds to.

  8. Click Submit Request to finish.

🔍View Past / Other Users Requests

Search for existing suggestions and vote for the ones you support.

💡Pro Tip:

Use the search bar before submitting a request. If your idea already exists, voting helps prioritize it and avoids duplicates.

⚠️ Please Note:

Requests only become publicly visible after they’re reviewed and accepted by the DaySmart team.

  1. In the portal, click Dashboard to view all submissions. Your submitted or voted requests will appear under My Priorities.

  2. Suggested by Others displays other user-submitted requests.

  3. Use the Search bar in the top right to look for a topic.

  4. Use the Product Area filters in the top left to narrow your view.

  5. Click the Thumbs Up icon to vote on a request and receive updates on its status.

  6. Click the Snooze icon to remove requests you're not interested in from your view.

  7. Click any request to view details, add comments, and explain why it matters to your business.

⚙️Customize Feature Request Updates

Manage your email notification preferences for feature request updates.

  1. Click your profile icon in the top right corner of the portal.

  2. Select Email Settings from the left-hand menu.

  3. Adjust your preferences as needed, click Save Changes to update your settings.

How do I see other users’ requests?

Click the arrow to view the answer

Go to your Dashboard and click Suggested by Others to browse and search submissions. Use filters or the search box to find related topics.


How do I vote for a request?

Click the arrow to view the answer

Click the Thumbs Up icon next to a request to cast your vote. Use Snooze to hide suggestions you aren’t interested in.


When are feature requests visible to the public?

Click the arrow to view the answer

Requests are private until they’re reviewed and approved by the product team. Once approved, they become visible to all users in the portal.
