Checking Clients Out from an Existing Appointment

  1. Log into the software and select the Appointment Book icon.

  2. Select an existing appointment by left clicking on the appointment

  3. If the appointment has been checked in already, Check Out will show in the bottom right of the screen. If you do not see this, you can select Appt Details then Actions in the top right of the screen, followed by Check Out.

  4. After clicking Check Out, you will be directed to a screen that has you confirm the client information, service/product purchased information, and this screen shows you an order summary. Confirm the information is correct on this screen.

  5. Once you have confirmed this information, select Proceed to Payments.

  6. The Payment Detail screen now shows. Here you can select what payment type the customer is using. Once you select the payment type, add the amount they paid with that payment type, add any comments, and select add payment. This will add a payment on the right side of the screen under Order Summary: Payments line.

    1. Pay Later: When pay later is selected you can select an amount to be added to the clients profile. This can be paid off later through the checkout as well

    2. Custom: This option allows you to pick from a handful of payment options that you can add to and adjust as necessary

  7. If you are using Daysmart Payments and you select Credit, the software will connect to your card device that has been entered in the software. Once you find the device and see connected, select Process Card and follow the prompts on the card device.

  8. Once you have selected the payment type and confirmed the amount to be paid. You can select Close Ticket.

โ€‹Checking Clients Without an Appointment

  1. Start by selecting the Appointment Book Icon.

  2. To the right of the Appointment Book Icon, you will see a shopping cart that says Checkout.

  3. You will be able to pick from two different tabs. The first tab will say Appointments, this will display all open appointments for the day and you can select the one you want by left clicking on it. The second tab will say New Transaction, if you select this tab, you can search for a client via the search bar and create a new ticket.

  4. After picking between these tabs, you will be taken to the Proceed to Payments screen.

  5. Follow steps 5-8 listed above in the Checking Clients Out from an Appointment section. The following screens will be the same no matter what checkout option you chose.
