Review Settings

Once you have adjusted the email, you can select if the review type customers will be able to leave is a rating out of 5 stars or a Thumps up or Thumbs down. Simply select which option you wish to use.

Finally, you can set if you want to promote leaving a social media review to your customers. If you enable this option, your customers will receive a message prompting them to leave a review on Facebook, Google, or Yelp if they left you a review of 4 or higher. If they rated their visit a 3 or less, they will not be prompted to leave a social media review.

Press Finish, ending the setup of Reputation Management for your business.

How to send customers a review

In order for your clients to receive a message prompting for a review, they will need to have appointment notifications enabled within their profile for either email or text messages.

  1. Go to your DaySmart online portal.

  2. Select Clients.

  3. Click on the client you wish to enable appointment reminders and reviews for.

  4. Under Client Information, check the box for either Email Address or Text Message.

  5. Press Save.

*This should be automatically enabled*

Now that your client has appointment notifications enabled, whenever you close a ticket for them, they will receive a message prompting for a review. They will simply need to click on the link in the email or text message at which point they will be able to rate their visit and leave a message if they desire.

Note: Customers will only receive one message per day to leave a review and only if they purchased a service.

Embedding Reviews on your Website

With Reputation Management, you can add customer reviews to your website or even provide them the option to leave a review from your website.

  2. Select More -> Reviews

  3. Select Review Form at the top of the page.

  4. Click on either Embed Reviews or Embed Review Forms.

  5. The first link on Embed Reviews will show you the reviews you have received, the second link under Embed Reviews will show reviews as well as replies.

  6. The link under Embed Review Forms will allow you to embed the actual form to your website, allowing your clients to leave a review directly from there.

You will want to provide the copied link to your website designer who will want to add this to your website by using an iFrame.

Managing Reviews

To view and manage reviews that your customers leave on Facebook, Google, Yelp, or through the email and text messages they receive after an appointment, go to More -> Reviews from your DaySmart online portal. From here you will be able to view all reviews from any linked social media accounts. You can also click on the individual reviews to reply and, if you have customer reviews embedded into your website, select whether to display the review or hide it on your website.

Reputation Management Reporting

  1. To view reports on your reviews, navigate to your DaySmart online portal.

  2. Go to More -> Reviews.

  3. Select Reports in the top right of the page.

From the Standard Reports screen, you will see a breakdown of your customer reviews over the past 12 months. You can view the number of reviews each month along with their rating, a breakdown of reports that came through Facebook, Yelp, and Google and you can view the number of reviews with 3 stars or less.

If you wish to change the date range for the reports, simply select Custom Reports along the left side. You will then be able to select your date range and press Submit.
